What?
They are literally clubs that gives the members the ability to mingle and discuss and do business with each other to bypass market or the state. Everyone who isn't in their club (the competition) they trample down together.
It's the same with all the other similar clubs, liek Rotary and fraternities and shit. Except Freemasonry is the granddaddy of all.
Why, you think they are in the possession of Secret Knowledge and only share it with those who are Worthy?

Also due to their hierarchical nature it's very easy for those in the upper ranks to give out favors as rewards to those under and demand favors from them as service if need be. It's like feudal state #2 or something.

By the way, modern Russian flag actually changed two times. From 91 to 93 colors and aspect ratio were slightly different.

Flag was changed when new constitution was written (and after shooting at parliament with tanks).

They're literally Islamig Gommunists. According to CRW Flags,
>Out of a vice comes an erect naked arm ending in a fist. In the fist are crossed sickle and gun with bajonette. Above the cross is a 5-point star. The whole is placed into a circle representing the globe. On its right side is a wreath of laurel(?). In the background is the silhouette of the Iran. Beneath the vice, at the top of the circle and beneath the circle there are inscriptions.

Gommies' favourite are the workers it's easy to work them. They are rootless urbanite pleb unlike peasants who are too close to the land and prefer concrete borders, or unlike herders who are too tribalists and both group are too religious as they are close to nature and her whims and both group has ownership as well. So gommies try to turn everyone into workers and call the others class enemies.

T4 is better then the 5th installment. In 5 you have to do the same thing over and over, building the same things throughout the ages over and over, in 4 there's some variety at least. Here if I want I can start the economy with tourism right at the beginning for example, I don't nee to go through the techs again and again. The campaign is also more engaging. Ofc on the long run this is just as boring, so it's just a little fun for the weekend.

Blau-Weiß Austrians having an election coz that's how the Reich ist wörking.
Literally the first (second) link I found:
https://www.thelocal.de/20181014/live-blog-bavarian-elections-2018

Parties:
CSU - Christian Socialist Union, the great Ally of Merkel's CDU - note: literally RAF
SPD - Social Democrats - note: literally RAF
Grüne - Greens - note: literally RAF
FW - "Free" Voters - note: literally RAF
FDP - "Free" Democratic Party - note: literally RAF
Die Linke - Not right. - note: now this one is for sure is RAF, no giddings
AfD - Alternatively Germans - note: literally Hitler

Exit polls out:
CSU is the great loser even if it got the most votes, their popularity dropped from about 48% to 35%. Still they are the strongest even though they need to form a coalition. Question is with whom?
SPD also lost voters, with their 10% they were pushed behind AfD.
The two great winner of the election is the Greens (18%) and the AfD (11%), the latter got in the Bavarian parliament for the first time. I bet now they are planning a Putsch in some shady Münchener Brauhaus.

Otherwise very boring party list, they have the whole shebang. "Christian socialists", "democrats", "socialists", "greens", "pirates", "alternatives", whatever. And actually if we really scratch the surface there ain't too much of a difference between them, just like everywhere else. The whole thing is "refugees welcome" and "refugees fuck off". Otherwise just playing with percentages in the budget. This is Freedom of Choice for you.

New poll from one of the two major survey companies is out. The past week seemed positive for Haddad, with hate crime scandals falling upon Bolsonaro (with some people I known seriously believing gays and blacks will be lynched in the streets if Haddad loses), major strides towards the center (such as attending Mass and proclaiming himself a good Catholic), Bolsonaro's refusal to take part in debates and the apparent and anedoctal support from voters who stayed neutral in the first round but have now joined him solely because they think Bolsonaro is a fascist.
And yet Bolsonaro not only preserved his lead but expanded it by a point, reaching 59%. The survey also found Haddad's rejection rate is 12 points higher than Bolsonaro's.

Tank thread reup. So.

Today I had to bury the 6th dead bird this year. Not even this year, this summer! I would say I never ever buried this much but frankly before this I had to do this only twice in my whole life. I dunno what's going on with them.
It would be easier to just dump them into the dumpster but frankly I rather spend some energy and give them an ok final rest.
During digging I came across a very interesting archaeological findings: this tank on picrels. It wasn't mine and not any of my pals owned such or even played around that spot in our childhood so I suppose one of my family members owned this there are some possibilities.
What Bernd think what type of tank is this? I think it has the Sherman looks.

Also this can be a general vehicle/weapons thread as well.

Now this is a curiousity.
At first the Germans didn't delivered Panzerfausts and Panzerschrecks but in '43 they gave a pair for making studies. As I said the letter inspired the 44M 60 mm handheld rocket launcher but the Panzerfaust also gave ideas to Hungarian military engineers. Luckily we could buy the Nebelwerfer's license and they used the gunpowder of it in several explosives (like in the 60 mm rocket).
The novelty was the detonation which was based on a mechanism that they later called Misnay-Schardin effect. The two researcher discovered it independently, probably the German was the first. Here you can read more about it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misznay%E2%80%93Schardin_effect
The operation of the 44M 60 mm rocket, the 40 mm AT projectile, 43M AT mine and the 44M. "Macelauncher" was based on this effect.

Bernd 10/11/2018 (Thu) 19:01:52 [Preview] No.19980 del
Today's topic the the 44M. "Macelauncher" (Buzogányvető) or "Szálasi-rocket" which was a three person crew operated AT rocket launcher.
Ofc this also came late. The tests began in '44, the production went on from the summer till late December when the factory was took by the Red Army. All in all they produced maybe 6-700 pieces, two exists with the serial number of 441 and 448.
For the first test they used tripod as a mount - the soldier who fired the first shots was a convict with death penalty who got pardoned and forced to do the tests instead - then they used the Goryunov machine gun's wheeled mount as they not just find it very suitable but the army obtained many hundreds of it as spoils of war. A few was also placed on some Krupp Protze trucks and on Toldi tanks.
The rocket itself is 27-30 kg, 970 mm long and 215 mm wide at the fattest part, two was loaded into 700 mm long launcher tubes. It was capable of penetrating 300 mm armor and had a range of 500-1200 m but could fly about 2000. Ofc the effective range was much shorter, maybe about 200 m.
It only saw action around Budapest during her siege.

Bernd 10/11/2018 (Thu) 19:02:40 [Preview] No.19981 del
Oh I almost forget it, it had a fragmentation version against soft targets. It was called "Downpour".

Bernd 10/15/2018 (Mon) 20:57:50 [Preview] No.20079 del
44M Lidérc (ghost, wisp) AA rocket. Second AA rocket in the world but the first one which used an igniter activated by the target itself as German AA rockets were activated by impact or a timer. The carrier aircraft would have been the Me 210 Ca-1 - only one could be fitted on one plane - and the target would have been the carpet bombing Allied bombers flying in close formation, the planned objective was to disrupt their missions by breaking up their formations and not the destruction of individual planes.
The designer of the igniter was Pulváry Károly (in esperanto: https://eo.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C3%A1roly_Pulv%C3%A1ry) physicist, mechanical engineer, sound engineer who made his invention to be activated by the sound of motor of the bombers.
50 pieces were made but - as far as I know - none had the igniter as there was no capacity to manufacture them. They were used as anti-personnel rocket propelled explosives against the Red Army around Budapest.
No American bomber was harmed in the making of this rocket.

The program I watched said the virus can survive in uncooked pork product. It can survive in frozen raw pork for a year. Since we feed pork with kitchen waste (table leftover) the virus can be spread if a piece of infected scrap meat is fed to pigs.
That's why the pig farmers demand government to process all kitchen waste in a centralized way. They also demand cracking down on import and smuggling of raw pork from China.
There is an interesting ham product. It's an important ingredient of expensive Chinese soup. For authentic taste you are supposed to import it from China. But that's banned now.

I sometimes watch a Chinese tv period costume drama.
This drama was made by inner mongolian city. It was set in 18th century Inner Mongolia. The main character is a Chinese caravan merchant. He was a porter. He followed the Chinese army to Mongolia, and befriended other ethnic groups and became a big businessman.
The show featured landscape and actors of the region and they spoke some Mongolian language.
Solidarity of nationalities I guess.

Another site clarifies that it is low-fat, soft and similar in taste to pork.

In the woods I walk into over 1488 webs as they all get the great idea to weave it across the tracks and paths. But I'm counting all that and while I it angers me at times, it can't freak me out. Bah.

Maybe he want to catch you?

I've have multiple spiders in my flat (and this is 6th floor of commieblock). Some occasionally moves down on web string between monitor and me, looks at me and goes away. I guess he just saying "hi". I'm trying to remove all webs when I'm cleaning flat, but these guys always find a way to hide.

Local superstition say that killing spider brings bad luck.

Not anymore, that's for sure.

Yeah, they are everywhere here as well. In the house, around the house, in the garden. Not all weaves web.
For a while the bird population dwindled for some reason what invasion of insects followed. Then came the spiders to feast. For liek two years their webs were all over the yard. Now birds are back but nowhere close to the number what was before and there are still a lot of spiders but not that much.

Sames here. I don't care. If a spider is in the way I prefer to relocate them, at least they eat flies and mosquitos, gnats, whatever, but I've no scrupulous when I decide to kill one or the other.
